'Everyone deserves the experience
of their own magic.'
Yoga - a Sanskrit word that means 'Union' is an ancient practice that is increasingly being practiced world over.
Yoga however stretches far beyond just movements on the mat, it is a path of self-discovery.
All the yogic practices are designed to attain perfect peace and health, to balance the polarities in our entire existence, the lunar and solar, masculine and feminine, intellect and intuition, shiva and shakti, hot and cold, active and passive, yang and yin, light and darkness, bringing balance to the left and the right hemisphere of the brain, and so on.
We balance the body and the mind, so that our spirit can arise to the forefront and we can see the inner light of knowledge and truth, gain profound wisdom and awaken to our highest self.
Our Yoga sessions are designed to suit your needs, ranging from Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. We look forward to working with you to bring harmony and balance to your everyday being.
All classes can be booked as group classes, private / one-to-one or for special events.

Hatha & Vinyasa
This specific Hatha Vinyasa is based on the Zuna Yoga® approach. This system includes the use of asana, bandha, mudra, pranayama, mantra, meditation and other components. Through a systematic usage of these tools, practice is directed toward the attainment of health, strength, perseverance, patience and wisdom that awakens us to the what we refer to as the true "promise of yoga": to live free and empowered, to experience the bountiful treasures of life, and the realization of purpose and success. In the Sri Vidya tradition, this is said to be the result of the development of the three shaktis: the power of will (iccha), the power of knowledge (jnana), and the power of action (kriya).
The classes are about expanding and directing pranic energy in asana and meditation to awaken the purpose and joy that lies within. The Zuna Yoga® is a system open to all ages and types of people.
Restorative yoga is simply that - restorative. It is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness for extended periods of time. The props assist in helping you in deep relaxation and to hold the poses for longer.
Yoga Nidra is often referred to as "yogic sleep," a paradoxical state of being between sleep and consciousness that's conducive to deep emotional and physical healing, rewiring your brain, and self-exploration. As a culture, we're always connected, often stressed, and our nervous systems are constantly in a fight-or-flight, sympathetic state. Yoga nidra is an effective and efficient way to access the "rest and digest" parasympathetic state, which is where healing happens.
Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues). Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.
Suitable for all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the Hatha and Vinyasa, more dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
When you meditate you move beyond the mind’s chatter, and into peace and clarity of present moment awareness.
The essence of meditation is cultivation of mindful awareness and expanded consciousness. Meditation goes far beyond the moments when you are actually in meditation, the aim is to reap the benefits and notice how it affects you in your daily life. It helps you to gain inner peace and grounds/calms you, it improves focus and self awareness, lowers anxiety and helps you to cope with stress, becoming more creative and compassionate, increases spiritual connection and it also helps regulating sleep.
With hundreds of meditation practices presented, most people are confused as to where to begin and even scared to face their thoughts. Taking your individuality into consideration, we work together to break through the barriers to meditation so you can sit in stillness and peace.
We work with a range of meditations such as Breath Meditations, Yoga Nidra, Prana Vayu Meditations and also Movement Meditations - a process of letting go physically which calms us mentally so we can start to go inwards.
